International Guests From England Visit the Orangeville Lions Club

Lion Paul Snell, President of the Orangeville Lions Club, welcomes John and Jenny Walters to Orangeville.  John and Jenny are the President and Vice-President of the Dudley Lions Club.   The Dudley Club is a small club, with 11 members, located approximately 30 minutes north of Birmingham in the industrial area of central England.  

 During the visit, Lion Paul exchanged ideas on items of common concern.  These included membership and fund raising activities.  Examples of the fundraising activities undertaken by the Dudley Club include table top sales (at a flea market), poppy sales, Christmas hamper and Easter egg raffles.  In addition, members of the Dudley Club are involved in food collection activities during the Christmas season to assist needy and elderly members of their community.
